ELIGIBILITY: The Nikon D70 More Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to all legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry who have online access. You may not enter the Sweepstakes if you reside in an area where it is prohibited, regulated or taxed (other than any income or withholding taxes that relate to receipt of prizes). Employees, officers and directors of Nikon Inc. ("Nikon"), its affiliates and subsidiaries, and Equifax Direct Marketing Solutions Inc. (“Equifax”), its affiliates and subsidiaries, and Nikon’s and Equifax’s respective advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, legal advisors as well as the immediate family members and persons living in the same household of all of the foregoing are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. DESCRIPTION OF SWEEPSTAKES: Three (3) prize winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received.

HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES:
To enter, go to the Nikon SLR website (www.nikonslr.com) home page, click the D70 promotion button and watch the D70 Introduction presentation that will then appear. At the conclusion of the D70 Introduction presentation, click the “Win More” Sweepstakes button, complete the online entry form (giving your name, email address, zip code and phone number in the spaces provided) and click the “submit” button. Correctly answer the five questions regarding the Nikon D70 Digital SLR that will then appear, and click the “submit” button. Participants are entered once they submit the correct answers. Sweepstakes begins at 8:00 a.m. (ET) on January 28, 2004 and ends at 8:00 a.m. (ET) on March 1, 2004. Each participant may enter once during the Sweepstakes period. A participant’s first entry will be such participant’s only eligible entry in the event of such participant’s multiple entries during the Sweepstakes period. No automatically generated entries will be accepted. Nikon is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operations or transmission; theft or destruction or unauthorized access or alterations of entry materials, computer transmissions or for technical telephone equipment, electronic, hardware or software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions of any kind; or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof.

All entries submitted are final. Submitted materials cannot be returned. All entries become the property of Nikon. Nikon is not responsible for the loss or damage of any entry. All participants acknowledge the right of Nikon to use their entries for exhibition, electronic dissemination, on-line promotion and publication by Nikon.

WINNER SELECTION: There will be three prize winners. The prize winners will be selected by one random drawing from all eligible entries received. The drawing will be held on or about March 8, 2004 by an independent judging agency. Participants are eligible to win once only. Winners will be announced on the Nikon SLR website within four weeks after the Sweepstakes entry end date. Winners will be notified by email and/or by phone within three weeks following the Sweepstakes drawing dates. The Sweepstakes will be held under the supervision of Nikon whose decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning the Sweepstakes depend on the total number of eligible on-line entries for the Sweepstakes. Nikon shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by the potential winner for any reason. Winners will be required to execute and return to Nikon within ten days following attempted notification an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability, and where lawful, a publicity release. By accepting and/or using a prize, each winner agrees to the use by Nikon of his/her name, screen name, voice and/or likeness for the purpose of advertising, trade or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Winners may be required to provide Nikon with their Social Security number and prepare certain tax forms prior to receiving the prize award. Failure to comply with the above requirements may result in disqualification of the Sweepstakes winner and selection of an alternate winner.

PRIZES: Nikon will award one (1) Nikon D70 Digital SLR camera outfit (consisting of one (1) Nikon D70 camera body and one (1) 18-70mm DX Nikkor lens) to each of the winners. Winners may not substitute, transfer or assign any prize won. All taxes on prizes are the responsibility of the winners. Nikon reserves the right to substitute prizes at any time at our sole discretion. The approximate retail value of the Nikon D70 Digital SLR camera outfit is $1,300.00.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The Sweepstakes is governed by these Official Rules, which are subject to change without notice in the sole discretion of Nikon. Please check this space regularly for any changes in these Official Rules. By entering, participants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Nikon, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws. By entering, participants release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nikon, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and Equifax, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and the successors, assignees, licensees, legal representatives, officers, directors, employees and agents of all of the foregoing from and against any and all claims, actions, liabilities, injuries, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees) of any kind whatsoever arising or resulting, whole or in part, from participation in this Sweepstakes or the receipt and use of any prize. By participating in this Sweepstakes, you may periodically receive announcements from Nikon.

INTERNET: If for any reason the Internet portion of the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs and/or tampering; to unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Nikon that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Nikon reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In such event, the winners, if any, will be selected from all eligible entries received up to the time of cancellation, termination or suspension.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE NIKON SLR WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, NIKON RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PARTICIPANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
